This is the photograph of a 20-year old girl who had come to me for a dental check-up. She did not have any problem. She says that some months ago there was bleeding from her gums. Should lowering fluoride level in US water supplies bother us?

Yesterday it was a big news that US has lowered limits for fluoride in water as they have found there that too much fluoride is causing splotching teeth. Now, the question is how does this news affect us? – to me it appears to be of just academic interest only. It is another question which can be asked in viva-voce like in our college days we used to literally cram up the water fluoride levels.
